Laura is an actor, writer, director, and stand-up based in Brooklyn and Los Angeles.

On-screen credits include Steven Soderbergh’s new sci-if series CommandZ opposite Michael Cera, Superbad, NCIS, NCIS: Nola, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and NBC’s Pure Genius.

Her directorial debut, Speak, premiered at the reputed Nantucket Film Festival, receiving critical acclaim and awards nationally for its provocative exploration of domestic violence.

Laura’s latest work, The Coupon, just won Best Comedy Short at The Atlanta Underground Film Festival, Best Short at Tohorror Film Festival, and continues to tour top tier genre programs worldwide including Fantastic Fest in Austin, Telluride’s Horror Show, FilmQuest, and the reputed SLASH International Film Festival in Vienna.

You’ll also find her standing up and telling jokes at places like The Comedy Store in LA, and the Duplex in NYC.

She is a member of the Alliance of Women Directors.
